Feng Shui is a Daoist art and is part of ancient Chinese culture and heritage. Unlike many ancient cultures this one is still alive in China today but kept hidden and only known by reference in the West.

Feng Shui is all about letting energy flow in an unimpeded way, without barriers.
The term Feng Shui literally translates as “Wind Water” in English. This is a cultural shorthand taken from the following passage of the Book of Burial by Guo Pu of the Jin Dynasty.

“Qi rides the wind and scatters,
but is retained when encountering water.”

Daoist Feng Shui is a very complex and advanced science that can bring success and prosperity by increasing the flow of positive energy and eliminating or minimising the flow of harmful energy.

Feng Shui originated from the Daoist science of architecture i.e. knowing where to place a building so that the energy to that building will benefit the business carried out there, and understanding how the shape of structures, with the layout and content of rooms, affect the energies of where we live or work, in positive or negative ways.
